Thames River Cruise (Jan. 14)

I had hoped the sun would be out today, of all days. Sightseeing was an important part of the cruise, and consequently, taking pictures of the city from the river. The view had a rather dull color palette. I learned that London is the world's smallest capital city, which I'm surprised I didn't notice before. The Tube trains move very quickly between stations and major attractions in the city are all very easy to get to. Additionally I learned that the London tap water is from the Thames River; I wasn't entirely happy about this. The water from the kitchen sink in our flat has a powdery film on the surface after I boil it, and when I let it stand the residue becomes more apparent. Fitting that it comes from the grey water of the river...
I am now more hesitant to drink directly from the tap.
